Wastewater expertise includes preparing individual and general permit applications, generating discharge-monitoring reports, reporting requirements for Publicly-Owned Treatments Works (POTW's) and industrial users, auditing regulatory compliance and preparing Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans.
Since the initiation of the state's Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) General Permit in 2001, Emerald has performed numerous storm water inspections that have required specific knowledge of industry operations and applicable storm water regulations. Emerald's knowledge of TPDES storm water requirements includes determining permit applicability, no exposure certifications, hazardous metals annual monitoring, effluent limitations, monitoring requirements, as well as specific requirements for each type of industry. Emerald provides clients with highly experienced personnel who review existing processes and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3's) for compliance; prepare SWP3's; review or generate inspection reports, annual evaluations or analysis, and testing requirements.
